02Why it exists

Interviews test a skill, and skills need reps.

Most interview preparation is reading: lists of questions, sample answers and advice threads. An interview tests something else — whether you can give a clear, specific answer out loud, hold up under a follow-up question, and do it in the language the interview is held in. That improves with repetition and honest feedback, and most candidates can’t get enough of either.

InterviewWare exists to make those repetitions easy to start and the feedback easy to check. Every rating points to the passage of your answer it is based on, and when there isn’t enough evidence, you get no score rather than a guess.

It is bilingual by design, because many candidates prepare in one language and interview in another. The interface, the interview and the feedback each have their own language setting, so you can answer in English and read the review in Chinese.

03Method · IW-1

How answers are scored.

IW-1 is InterviewWare’s practice rubric. Four dimensions are each rated 0–4, every rating must quote your own words, and a total appears only when all four have quoted evidence.

04Boundaries

What InterviewWare won’t do.

  • Write answers for you to read out

    Coaching gives structure and points to strengthen. The meeting coach shows hints only, never a script.

  • Invent experience

    Resume and answer suggestions build on what you provide. They never add employers, metrics or credentials you don’t have.

  • Predict hiring decisions

    Scores are practice estimates that tell you what to work on next — not a forecast of any employer’s decision.

  • Pretend to be a real employer

    The AI interviewers are fictional characters. Company packs summarise what employers publish and link to the official source.

  • Keep your recordings

    Audio is processed to transcribe it or hold the live conversation. Your account keeps transcripts and feedback, never the audio.

  • Sell your data or show ads

    There are no ads and no advertising trackers, and you can delete any record — or your whole account — at any time.

05Status

Early access, and still changing.

InterviewWare is in free early access. Every current feature is included, with daily fair-use limits listed on the Pricing page. Features and limits may still change, and there will be rough edges — bug reports and suggestions genuinely shape what gets fixed next.

InterviewWare is an independent product, operated under the name InterviewWare. It is not affiliated with any employer, recruiter or interview platform mentioned on this site. How your data is handled is set out in the Privacy policy, and the rules for using the service in the Terms of service.
